Burmese by
"SABOKAH"
This year we were
privileged enough to attend the 2008 CCCofA National show in Logan, QLD,
Australia. We took with us 2 Burmese kittens and one Bengal Marble
kitten.
The Bengal kitten we took was FIRECATZ Hot Ta Trot.
SABOKAH Quite The
Actress took out a Best in Group on one ring and placed in several of the
other rings.
FIRECATZ Hot Ta Trot
got a Best in Group and a minor placing in another ring. She was
also placed 4th Best in Show. What a great result for such a young
baby!
SABOKAH Clarice
Starling took out a Best in group in Ring 7 under Lesley Freeman and then
placed in some of the other rings. Lesley Freeman then placed
Clarice Best in show out of 90 plus kittens. Thanks Lesley for
giving us a dream come true of many years. Clarice then went on to
be Lesley Freeman's Supreme Overall Exhibit in Ring 7. This was from approx
450 exhibits. This is an achievement I just cant believe! We
went to Australia to meet the wonderful people that we have built up
breeding relationships with over the years. This was more of a
social trip and to see some of the wonderful Burmese that are bred in
Australia.
I would like to
personally thank the CCCofA for putting on a fantastic show and for
attracting such high class exhibits. The atmosphere was wonderful
and the stalls were fantastic. I hope the opportunity arises for us
to attend another of your National shows.
I would like to
personally thank the following people as without them this would have
never been possible. Firstly Valerie Cashman of
Aurora Burmese for
letting me twist your arm to allow me to proudly own
CH Aurora Me Mudda Luvs Me! and use him
as a stud in our breeding programme. Albert is the sire of Clarice.
Looks like our gamble has paid off!! Bev Pogson and Clare King for
breeding and raising such a perfect girl in
GR CH Starkatz Georgiana who
is the Dam of Clarice. What a great combination this mating has
been.
Below are some pics
from the show.
