The Asian cat is related to the Burmese Cat.  They are very Burmese like in personality.  It is only the looks that are different.  The Asian looks like little lion cubs!

The Asian cat make great family pets and are known to get along well with dogs and children.  They are very affectionate cats,  and have the same traits as a Burmese.  If you are getting an Asian kitten and will be away at work often,  I would suggest you get two so they can keep another company.   They are very needy cats, just like Burmese. 

Asian cats are very inquisitive and enjoy being with their human companions.   They are into everthing you do,  whether it is folding washing or chilling watching television,  they will be right there beside you.   They are a delight to own and make great pets.

The asian has the same breed standard as the Burmese with the exception of the coat colour and pattern.  

If you want a Burmese with a difference, I highly recommend the Asian as a family pet!
